Hi again Ladies and Gents,
Not sure about you, but I've certainly caught a dose of Olympics fever over here in London. So much so that I was even mistaken for an Olympic triathlete the other day! Ha ha. Very flattering, but I had to laugh. Couldn't quite bring myself to perpetuate the myth, even if it was tempting at first...
Anyway, in addition to impersonating elite sportsmen, I've been busy trying to put things in place for this album launch shindig, and I'm happy to report that we're all systems go for the big night on August 23rd, with my good mate Andy Schrav joining me on the keys and Tom Figgins opening the show from around 8pm. I've even managed to get the album on iTunes in advance, which based on my usual sense of timing is nothing short of a complete miracle. All the songs are still available on Bandcamp of course, but if you're into the whole iTunes thing and you've got yourself all synced up on the different platforms/devices/machines/technologicalgizmos, then here's the link for ya:

Following on from the launch, I'll be in touring in Germany for a couple of weeks. Always have a great time over there, and I'm sure this trip will be no different. I'm aware this is the part where I should probably be telling you to vote somewhere, request somewhere else and all that nonsense... But I'd much rather you just enjoy listening to the songs without having to worry about what number to call or which email address to use on some stupid form that will no doubt earn you the right to receive bucketloads of crap for the next 10 years. So we'll skip that part.
I would however certainly appreciate any help you could give me spreading the word about the launch on the 23rd. Still can't quite afford the marketing team, and it's really through word of mouth that these things are successful. So I'm gonna put a few links in here, and if you were able to share them with any friends of yours in London that would be awesome. The Bedford is a wonderful room, and it's gonna be a great night.
